Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026.
The short version
- Tiny Saturn does not collect, sell or share your personal data.
- There are no accounts, no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking.
- Your progress stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account.
- Apple runs the optional services the game uses, such as Game Center and iCloud, under Apple's own privacy policy.
Who we are
- Tiny Saturn is made by Michael Berinshteyn, an independent developer in Erie, Pennsylvania, United States ("we", "us").
- Questions about privacy go to berinshteyn@gmail.com.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or advertising identifier.
- The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software.
- The app does not send any data to servers we run, and we do not run any.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
What stays on your device
- Your progress, settings, stats, stardust, unlocked worlds and saved Saturns are stored on your device.
- The app keeps a small activity log on your device to power your stats, and it never leaves your device.
- The home screen widget reads your latest Saturn from storage shared only with the widget on the same device.
Apple services the app uses
- iCloud: If iCloud is on, your progress syncs between your devices through your own iCloud account. We cannot see or access it.
- Game Center: If you sign in to Game Center, your scores and achievements go to Apple and may be shown on leaderboards and to friends, based on your Game Center settings.
- Age range: Where the law requires it, the app asks Apple for an age range, such as "18 or over". Your birth date is never shared with us. The age range is used only to meet those laws, and it is not stored or sent anywhere.
- Crash reports: If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. We use them only to fix bugs.
- App Store: Apple gives developers anonymous, aggregate reports, such as total downloads. These do not identify you.
- Apple's handling of this data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/privacy.
What you choose to share
- When you share a picture, video or result, you choose where it goes using your device's share sheet.
- We do not receive a copy of anything you share.
Children
- Tiny Saturn is made for everyone, including children.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, or under 16 in some countries.
- Because the app collects no personal information, it does not need parental consent under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- Parents or guardians with questions can email berinshteyn@gmail.com.
Your privacy rights
- Laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act and other U.S. state privacy laws give you rights over your personal data.
- Because we do not collect or hold personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, delete, transfer or opt you out of.
- We do not sell or share personal data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling.
- You can still contact us at berinshteyn@gmail.com with any request, and we will reply within 30 days.
How to delete your data
- To erase your progress on a device, go to Settings in the game and choose Reset progress, or delete the app.
- To remove synced progress from iCloud, open your device Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, and manage the storage for Tiny Saturn.
- To manage Game Center data, use the Game Center settings on your device.
Security
- Data on your device is protected by your device's built-in security.
- iCloud data is protected by Apple.
Changes to this policy
- If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top.
- If a change is significant, we will also mention it in the app's update notes.
